This yearly event is in connection with the Indonesian American Cross-Cultural Music Project, fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas. Bay Area Gamelan Summit and Cross Cultural Celebration Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, California This event brings together for the first time the Bay Area’s four internationally known gamelan orchestras, as well as two groups that fuse Indonesian and American culture through music and dance. The concert features traditional gamelan music and dance representing Bali, Java and West Java, as well as new work by today’s generation of artists from both sides of the world. There will also be free workshops and performances, and Indonesian Arts & Crafts vendors in the lobby beginning at 2:00 pm.

Happy New Year! Lisa hosts a new monthly concert series at Artis Coffee, 1717B 4th Street in Berkeley, California. It is every last Friday of the month, it's an indoor concert and it's free for all ages. There's great coffee and tea, wi-fi and a musical line-up of performers with their own work for your listening ears. Come on and drop by from 4-6PM on Friday January 30, February 27 and March 27. |

Come to Oakland's Gardens Of Lake Merritt and enjoy the illuminated art spectacle and live music, dance, food and drinks at the Autumn Lights Festival 2014 on Friday Oct. 17 and Saturday Oct. 18, 6-10 PM. Lisa will be one of the musical guests playing. Get your tickets and support the gardens! Also, in the same area of Oakland, the Far West Conference 2014 is happening. FAR-West fosters and promotes traditional, contemporary and multicultural folk music, dance and related performing arts in the Western United States and Canada.
